February 28: Des Moines Rotary Wine Festival. The beautiful Landmark in Des Moines is beautifully set up for a special afternoon wine tasting opportunity. April 25: The elegant Chateau St. Michelle and many other wineries are found in our own backyard community of Woodinville. We’ll take in as many of the wineries as we can, including an educational tour through an actual wine making process. Price includes lunch and the cost of tastings at several of the wineries. June 6: Board the motor coach at a stop close to home and travel with us to Leavenworth for their annual charity Wine Festival. August 7-9: Perfect weather, excellent growing conditions and loving vintners make for perfect wines in the Willamette Valley. A short motor coach ride away we find the first of many vineyards and wineries in Oregon. This trip we will stay in what is called the Willamette Valley Appellation. Because we can take a three day trip very affordably, we will be able to leisurely visit many wineries.
